Rooted Kids Ministry works alongside parents to give children a solid foundation in the Christian faith. We offer Children's Church during the 10:30 AM Sunday service, and a Family Night on Sunday evenings at 5:30 PM — with activities for kids and a discussion group for parents covering home life, marriage, parenting, and finances. Our goal is simple: help kids actually understand and own their faith, and support parents in that process at home.

Student Ministry at First Baptist Church Fenton is built on one conviction: teenagers are not the future of the church — they are the church, right now. We partner with parents to love and disciple their kids in a real, honest way. Students get a place to ask hard questions, build genuine friendships, learn from older mentors, and get involved in the life of the church on Sunday mornings. We also run regular events and activities — not just to fill a calendar, but to create the kind of shared experience that turns acquaintances into actual friends.
Next Step Classes are short, instructor-led courses held at the church building — a practical way to go deeper on topics that matter. We cover Biblical literacy, Christian theology, personal finance, parenting, marriage, and gender-specific studies. Most classes run 4 to 15 weeks and are open to anyone. If you are new to FBC Fenton, Next Steps is also the best place to learn who we are, what we believe, and how to get plugged in.
Small Groups are where church life gets personal. If Sunday morning is where the whole church gathers, Small Groups are where you actually get to know people. Groups meet throughout the week in homes and at the church building for Bible study, honest conversation, and mutual support. They are built for real friendship — the kind where people notice when you're absent, ask how you're actually doing, and show up when things get hard. If you have never been part of a small group before, this is the place to start.
We'd love to help you find the perfect ministry to connect, grow, and serve. Contact us today to learn more about how you can get involved.
